Third firing
Grits
M.S has a wide range of “Vetrose” for third firing, (Transparent “Vetrose”, glossy, Matt, white, metallic and many more) for a range of temperature between 800-1050°C. High tech quality “Vetrose”, suitable to be apply by dry system to obtain high relief thickness or mixed with a medium to be printed by a screen to obtain précised and fine decoration effects.
The “Vetrose” sizes are controlled and with a very calibrated range, in order to match screen size between 15 to 25 wire/cm2.
These “Vetrose” can be studied in several colours, effect and sizes according to the customer needs.
Lustre
Tank to these products it is possible to obtain glossy and lustring surfaces, with iridescent and mirroring effect. We have Lustre in liquid paste form, solvent base and water soluble. The Water soluble lustre are nowadays the most requested, due to be easy cleanable by water and soap or alcohol.
- Lustre in powder, suitable for screen with 51-77 wire / cm²
- Lustre in paste (liquid form), suitable for between 120-150 wire / cm²
- Lustre for spray gun application
Colour
The third firing colors, ready to use, have intense and bright tones and are offered in versions with or without lead in a wide chromatic range.
The lead free colors, suitable for temperatures from 950 to 1050°C, guarantee respect for health; the lead colors, prepared for temperatures from 800 to 1000°C, show exceptional brightness and depth of color.
They can be used in the most diverse ways: airbrush, brush, screen printing.
Glazes
Special formulations based on frits and raw materials, designed according to customer needs to obtain various types of effects: transparent, matt, white or metallic surfaces in various colours. Suitable for rapid double-firing glazing between 1000°C and 1100°C, they can also be used in silk-screen printing in the third firing ceramic cycle.
Screen printing base
Products, ready to use or in powder form, suitable for the preparation of screen printing pastes designed to obtain an infinite number of colors and effects such as shiny, matt, white, thick, micalized, chromed, pearlescent, glitterised surfaces… M.S. screen printing. they are suitable for use in 3rd firing on ceramic supports at both high and low temperatures. Some products are used as primers, applied as full-field patches or specifically onto which digital colors are printed.
